DORIS ILEENE (WIESE) HEMP, age 93, of Worthington, died December 2, 2020, at the South Shore Care Center in Worthington. She was born September 30, 1927, to Emil and Marie Wiese. She earned her bachelor's degree in science from the University of Minnesota before starting her career as a Public Health Nurse in 1948. Doris married Robert Hemp in 1963 in Sitha, Alaska.

Doris loved to travel and spent most of her life living out of her suitcase, as she was constantly on the move. Aside from her commitment and love for her work, Doris also loved to sew/knit.

Doris is survived by her sister, Deanna Dwire, of Worthington.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Hemp in 2002; brother, Donald Wiese; and sister, Joan Mastbergen.

A private burial will be at a later date.
