DOTTIE DEE TRAPP, age 87, of Worthington, died Sunday, October 8, 2023, at Crossroads Care Center in Worthington. She was born January 30, 1936, in Tyndall, SD, to Lloyd and Lois (Eckhoff) Ptak. She graduated from Neligh High School in Neligh, NE. Dottie married Jack Trapp on October 1, 1954, in Freemont, NE. The couple lived in Omaha, NE before moving to Worthington in 1964. Dottie held various jobs before she began working at Armour's, in Worthington, for over fourteen years. She enjoyed crafts, crocheting, ceramics, golfing, camping and playing cards. Dottie is survived by her husband, Jack Trapp, Worthington; daughter, Jacqueline (Doug) Brower, Worthington, & their children, Stacy & Derek; two sons, Thomas Trapp, Hayden, CO, & their children, Lesley & Jack; and Craig (Laura) Trapp, Helena, MT, & their children, Emily & Nicholas; eight great-grandchildren; a brother, Dennis (Linda) Ptak, Bonham, TX; and a sister, Bonnie (Bobby) Woodward, Temple, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents.

A Celebration of life will be from 11:30 am to 1 pm Friday, October 27, at the Dingmann Funeral Home in Worthington. Memorial service will be 1 pm Friday at the Dingmann Funeral Home in Worthington. Burial will take place at a later date.
