ELIJAH GEORGE CASANOVA, age 8, of Round Lake, died Thursday, February 29, 2024, after battle with an infection, at the Fairview University of Minnesota Medical Center in Minneapolis. He was born October 22, 2015, in Windom, to Michael Casanova and Jessica Bramstedt. He was a second grader at the Prairie Elementary School in Worthington. Elijah loved Sonic the Hedgehog. He also enjoyed cars, camping The Fast & Furious race cars and especially loved his sisters. Elijah was a sweet, loving child and adored by many. Elijah is survived by his parents, Michael of Windom and Jessica of Round Lake; step father, Kenny Ling, Round Lake; two sisters, Kiara Casanova and Alexis Ling; grandparents, Brett & Julie Jeppesen, Worthington; and Omar Casanova and Maria Torres, Spirit Lake, IA; two aunts, Alison Jeppesen, Rushmore; and Sally Torres, Windom; and cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Alan Bramstedt; and paternal uncle, George Torres.

Visitation will be from 5-7 pm Friday, March 8, at the Dingmann Funeral Home in Worthington. A time of sharing memories will be at 7 pm Friday at the Dingmann Funeral Home in Worthington. Burial will take place at a later date.
