ELOISA ZAMUDIO VDA DE JAUREGUI, age 88, of Worthington, died Saturday, December 20, 2025, at Sanford Worthington Medical Center. She was born July 26, 1937, in Mexico, to Trinidad and Rosaura (Moreno) Zamudio.

She lived in Santa Rita and Jalisco Mexico before she moved to California in 1998, after her husband passed away.  Eloisa moved to Worthington for a short time, then moved back to California and permanently moved back to Worthington in 2015.

Eloisa was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Worthington.  She loved to sew and spend time with her family.  She also loved to travel to Mexico with her son Salvador and his wife Carmela and granddaughters, Lizbeth and Sara

She is survived by her five children, Maria Elena, Sioux Falls, SD; Francisco, Los Angeles, CA; Jaime, Denison, IA; Consuelo, Salinas, CA; Salvador (Carmela), Worthington, MN; thirteen grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jose on August 15, 1996; son, Juan Jose; and eight siblings, Jesusita, Claudio, Ramon, Elisa, Anita, Bibiana, Juan, and Luz.

A private family service will take place at a later date.
