ETHEL G. LORANG, age 94, of Worthington, died June 16, 2006 at the Sunset Hospice Cottage in Worthington. She was born November 16, 1911 in Lismore, to parents Emil F. and Ida (Thompson) Graf. Ethel grew up in the Lismore area and attended Lismore Public School. Ethel was united in marriage to Nick L. Lorang on January 10, 1928. They lived in Slayton, Fairmont, Winona and Luverne before moving to Lismore in 1936, when they started farming. They retired in 1975 and moved to Worthington. They later moved to The Meadows in Worthington in January of 1999. Ethel enjoyed taking care of her home. She loved to cook, crochet and especially loved gardening. Ethel is survived by her daughter LaVonne (Mike) Munns, Worthington; two grandchildren, Paula (Terry) Clare, Kalamazoo, MI; Carol (Dan) Cooper, Rapid City, SD; five great-grandchildren, Ryan and Ethan Clare, and Jay, Kelly and Kaci Cooper. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Nick, on July 16, 2001, three brothers, Clifford, Vernon, and Melvin Graf, one sister, Gladys VonHoltum. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to the Sunset Hospice Cottage, of Worthington. Blessed Be Her Memory.
