EUNICE ?MAREE? STANDAFER, age 86, of Worthington, died Sunday, February 18, 2007 at her home. She was born December 28, 1920, in Worthington, to Ray and Ida (Fellows) Kellam. She graduated from Worthington High School and Worthington Community College. Maree married Lloyd Standafer on May 28, 1941, in Worthington. She worked as a receptionist at the Worthington Medical Center before retiring in 1985. She volunteered much of her time to the American Red Cross and the Worthington Regional Hospital Auxiliary. Maree was a member of First Baptist Church in Worthington, where she taught Sunday School for many years. She was a life long member of The Young Matrons, later renamed the 6-47 Club. Maree enjoyed reading, sewing, quilting, baking, walking, and helping others. Her greatest joy was being with her family. Maree is survived by sister Bobbi Eernissee of Leota, MN; Brother Ray Kellam of Escondido, CA. Seven children, Daryl (Jan) Standafer, Hudson, WI; Julie (Del) Sheets, St. Cloud, MN; Nona (Dave) Neilson, Blaine, MN; Lon (Starr) Standafer, Worthington, MN; Paul (Diane) Standafer, Worthington, MN; Earl (Sue) Standafer; Burnsville, MN; Brian (Shelley) Standafer, Worthington, MN, as well as 24 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
