EVELYN J. GALAGAN, age 80, of Worthington, died Wednesday, March 12, 2008 at Crossroads Care Center in Worthington. She was born on July 27, 1927 in Wilmont, MN; to parents George and Caroline (Krell) Probst. She attended grade school in Wilmont and graduated from Worthington High School in 1945. Evelyn was united in marriage to James R. Galagan at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church in Wilmont on August 30, 1949. They made their home in Worthington where they raised their family. She was a member of St. Mary?s Catholic Church in Worthington. She liked sewing, crossword puzzles, baking pies and playing Pinochle. Evelyn especially liked to watch the Minnesota Twins and the Minnesota Vikings on television. Evelyn is survived by her husband, James R. Galagan, Worthington; children, Robyn (David) Funk, Worthington; Michael (Kim) Galagan, Indianapolis, IN; Carrie (Harris) Solma, Sleepy Eye, MN; six grandchildren, Erin (Mark) Top, Adam Funk, Patrick Galagan, Aimee Galagan, Julia Solma and Taylor Solma; brother and sisters, Marie Schissel, Albertsville, MN; Stanley (Florence) Probst, Rochester, MN; Shirley Becker, Worthington and Colleen (Francis) Koehne, Worthington. She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, John Galagan, three brothers Alvin Probst, Arnold Probst, Lawrence Probst and a sister Kathleen Huisman. Blessed Be Her Memory.
