FRANCES (VOGEL) DIEBER, age 103, died, Friday, March 21, 2008 at Crossroads Care Center in Worthington. She was born May 24, 1904 in Comfrey, MN; to parents Henry and Paulina (Bitten) Arndt. She attended school in Comfrey and graduated from high school in New Ulm. After graduation, Frances attended normal teachers training and taught school for one year. She later moved to north Hollywood, California and then to Glendale, California where she managed a Wards women fashion store for many years. She also owned her own store for a short time. Frances retired from Wards in 1966. In 1969 she moved to Worthington to be closer to her son. Frances is survived by her son, Ron (Beverly) Vogel, Worthington; four grandchildren, Randy (Kacy) Vogel, Susan Castle, Kim Vogel and Jane (Steve) Beyer; seven great grandchildren and three step children, Gloria Hook, Carol Hill and Edward Dieber and their children. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and two sisters. Blessed Be Her Memory.
