FRANCES EILEEN EDWARDS, age 81, of Worthington, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, February 23, 2014.  She was born on May 24, 1932 to George and Lydia (Maser) Orth, in Sioux City, IA.  Eileen was united in marriage to Glen Edwards.  From this union seven children were born.  Through the years, Eileen was a devoted homemaker, and enjoyed sewing for her family.  Later, she moved with her family to Worthington where she worked for Campbell's Soup Co.  After Campbell's closed, she was employed by Armour and Company, where she later retired.
Eileen is survived by her six daughters, Shirley (Robert) Ebel, Sierra Vista, AZ; Marcia Solomon, Scottsdale, AZ; Paula (Jim) Laffrenzen, Worthington; Nancy (Steve) Chergosky, Edina; Susan (Mike) Loosbrock, Fulda; and Julie Edwards, Sioux Falls, SD; sister, Winifred Smith, Jefferson, SD; nineteen grandchildren; thirty one great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces & nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Glen Edwards, on October 30, 1999; son, Robert Edwards, on December 8, 2009; and two brothers, Joe & Glen Orth.
A private family service will take place at a later date.
