FRANCES MAE STANLEY, age 86, of Luverne, died Tuesday, June 26, 2007, at the Sanford Luverne Hospital in Luverne. She was born February 22, 1921, in Harrison County, rural Cainsville, MO., to Coy and Nellie (Hefner) Baker. She attended and graduated from the Cainsville High School. Frances was united in marriage to Lloyd Leo Stanley on June 28, 1942 in Cainsvile MO. After their marriage they made their home in Kansas City until they moved to Bethany, MO in 1946. In 1960 they moved to Luverne where she lived the remainder of her life. She worked for the former Nelson?s Department Store and also as a secretary for Production Credit Association for many years. She also worked part time after her retirement as a home care provider and as a greeter at the Dingmann Funeral Home. She was a member of St John Lutheran Church in Luverne where she served on the Board of Evangelism. She enjoyed visiting with people, traveling and spending time with her family Frances is survived by her six children, Jean (Daryl) Umland, Las Vegas, NV; Sharon (Warren) Granke, Menomonee Falls, WI; Lloyd (Libby) Stanley, Luverne; Phyllis (John) Sutton, Windsor, CA; Donna (Steven) Mauher, Omaha, NE; Tommy (Barbara) Stanley, Faribault; sister, Virginia Strong,, Northbrook, IL; twelve grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Leo 1993, brother, Ferris, and an infant brother. Blessed Be Her Memory.
