GAYLA K. MARKMAN, age 73, of Worthington, died, Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at South Shore Care Center in Worthington. She was born July 2, 1939 in Worthington to parents, Tom and Alice (Leinen) Moore. She attended school in Brewster and graduated from Brewster High School in 1957. After her schooling she worked as a secretary at Campbell Soup Company in Worthington.
Gayla was united in marriage to Ken Markman on August 30, 1958. They lived in several states during her husband's military career, spending the most time in California. In 1996, she moved to Worthington where she resided until her death.
She is survived by her son Steven Markman, Camino, CA; two sisters, Tari (Dave) Cummings, Worthington, MN; and Linda (Les) Reyerson, Murfreesboro, TN; two brothers, Jim Moore, Tamarac, FL; and Monty Moore, Las Vegas, NV.
Gayla was preceded in death by her parents.
