GERALDINE ?GERRY? BRUA, age 75, of Worthington, died Friday, October 24, 2008, at the Sanford Regional Worthington Hospital. She was born May 3, 1933, in New Castle, PA, to George and Ethel (Tucker) Pisor. She graduated from New Castle High School in 1951. Gerry married Jack Brua on June 20, 1952, in New Castle, PA. After their marriage, the couple lived in New Castle. In 1967, the family moved to Worthington. Gerry & Jack managed Reefer Transit Line, in Worthington, before starting their own business, Brua Trucking. Gerry later began working at Textile Treasures in 1999; and at Headstart in 2001. She was a member of American Lutheran Church, in Worthington. Gerry enjoyed sewing, baking & anonymous giving to others. She especially enjoyed the little children at Headstart. Gerry is survived by her five children and their spouses, Jack & Dee Brua, Eau Claire, WI; Mike & Sharon Brua, Brandon, SD; Janet Colby, Canby; Todd & Kim Brua, Sioux Falls, SD; and Lisa & Todd Bahnub, Galesville, WI; fourteen grandchildren, Ashley (Kirk) Nagel, Brittany (Jason) Bosak; David, Brian, Matthew & Stephen Brua; Justin, Jason & Jennifer Colby; Haley, Lindsey & Cody Brua; and Luke & Sophie Bahnub; a great granddaughter, Mercedes Brua; four stepgrandchildren, Tracy Carlson, Renae McDonnough, Jennifer Mars & Amanda Bauer; three sisters, LaVerne (Claire) Robinson, New Castle, PA; Dorothy Haswell, New Castle, PA; and Maxine (Dale) Mallory, New Castle, PA; and many special nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jack, in 1996; son-in-law, Jeff Colby; brother, George Pisor Jr.; three sisters, Shirley Bailey, Jean Wiley & JoAnn Mitcheltree; and a sister-in-law, Audrey Ferravolo.
