GERTRUDE (ANNIE) BEUTLER, age 84, of Worthington, died Wednesday, June 4, 2008, at the Avera-McKennan Hospital, in Sioux Falls, SD. She was born July 7, 1923, in Astoria, SD, to John and Margaret (Bannick) Naeve. She attended school in Altamont, SD. In 1968, Gertrude (Annie) moved to Worthington and began working at Campbell?s Soup Company. She was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Worthington; and a Boy Scouts Leader for over thirty years. She enjoyed gardening & visiting with family & friends. Gertrude is survived by her three children, Johnny & Nyla Beutler, Watertown, SD; Shirley Ann & Doug Mack, Watertown, SD; and Terry Beutler and special friend, Darla Wenzel, Austin, TX; five grandchildren; four great grandchildren; three sisters, Margo Winter, Clear Lake, SD; Mildred Severson, Brookings, SD; and Esther (Ron) Krause, Clear Lake, SD; and one sister-in-law, Rosella Naeve, Milbank, SD. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Werner and Arnold Naeve, and great-grandson, Logan Weber.
