Glenn Dean Kreun was born to Wilmer & Sophia ( Scholten) Kreun on February 26th 1944, in Edgerton Minnesota where he was raised on the family farm and attended school through the 10th grade. He then enlisted in the military and was honorably discharged in 1970. After serving his term in the army, he then continued working for the army corp. of engineers in anchorage, Alaska. At that time he entered into marriage with his wife Bernice Pauline moonin and had three beautiful children. after moving to Wenatchee, wa in 1976 he re-married and worked at the eye and ear clinic as maintenance crew for over 21 years while maintaining the family orchard. After years of battling with brittle diabetes, glenn was admitted at central Washington hospital where he passed on Tuesday, july 15, 2008 at the age of 64 years, 5 months, and 18 days. Glenn was an active member, deacon and elder of eastmont presbytarian church in east Wenatchee, wa. There he was happy to volunteer with the youth in the church, cooking and cleaning for their numerous functions. Some of his favorite pastimes included horseback riding, camping, and fishing with his family and friends. As well as playing with two of his grandchildren payton and parker. Two brothers, roger kreun of Kemble, Ontario., warren kreun of Newington, ga., five sisters, jean ackerman of Worthington, mn., wanda wulf of mason city, ia., becky meiener of Edgerton, mn., vonnie bolkema of Edgerton, mn., and charla hunter of slayton, mn. Four brother-in-laws, dale ackerman of Worthington, mn., chuck wulf of mason city, ia., dave meiener of Edgerton, mn., bob bolkema of Edgerton, mn., three sister-in-laws, Alberta kreun of ripon, ca., barbara kreun of Kemble, Ontario, and cathy kreun of Newington, ga. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, brother, two brother -in-laws, a niece and a nephew.
