GLORIA A. CUNNINGHAM, age 88, of Edina, formerly of Worthington, died Saturday, October 2, 2010 at Fairview-Southdale Hospital in Edina, MN. She was born May 3, 1922, at Heron Lake, MN; to Orville W. and Julia (Heger) Cunningham. She started school in Heron Lake and graduated from Worthington High School in 1940. Gloria attended Worthington Junior College for two years. She also attended Minneapolis Business College. After her schooling, she was employed in Minneapolis and then moved to Seattle, Washington for five years where she worked for Boeing Aircraft. Gloria then moved to Denver, Colorado and worked as an engineer aide and also worked for Martin-Marietta Company. She retired in 1984 and continued making her home in Colorado, moving to Minneapolis in 1995. Gloria was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Connie Dillon. She was a past member of St. Mary?s Catholic Church in Worthington and presently a member of St. Richard?s Catholic Church in Edina, MN.
