GREGORY PAUL GENGLER, age 35, of Austin, MN, formerly of Worthington, died Thursday, June 21, 2007 at his home. He was born April 17, 1972 in Brookings, SD; to parents James and Rita (Barkley) Gengler. He attended school at Central Elementary in Brookings and graduated from Worthington High School in 1990. Greg attended Austin Community College and studied television production. Greg started his television career in Austin, MN then moved to Rockford, Illinois. He later moved back to Austin and was the evening news director for KAAL television in Austin, MN. Greg enjoyed animals and was very artistic with his many drawings. He loved his family and was the life of the party with his wit. Greg is survived by his parents, Jim and Rita Gengler, Worthington; sister, Leslie (Matt) Norman, Lakeville, MN; brother, Andrew (Tricia) Gengler, Medford, MN; nieces, Elizabeth, Maria, and Rachel Norman; nephews, Bryant, Matthew and Alex Gengler. He is also survived by his paternal grandmother, Geraldine Gengler, Brookings, SD; maternal grandfather, John Lenz, Watertown, SD; and his special cat, Lucy. Blessed Be His Memory.
