HAROLD VOGT, age 92, of Luverne, died Sunday, January 14, 2024, at the Sanford Hospital, in Sioux Falls, SD.   Harold was born August 31, 1931, in Sibley, Iowa to Henry and Anna (Donker) Vogt.  He attended school at Sibley, IA. and Ellsworth, MN.  Harold was in the U.S. Armed Forces from 1952 to 1954 serving in Germany.

Harold married LaVonne Bartholomaus April 10, 1957, in Luverne.  They lived in Luverne all their married lives.  He worked for Hatting Gravel, he was a manager at Dietz and Grow Ready Mix and Schuurs Ready Mix in Luverne.

Harold is survived by his wife LaVonne; brother-in-law Robert (Donna) Bartholomaus, Clarion, IA; many nieces and nephews; and great nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, George, John, Henry, Edward, Tom and Paul Vogt; sisters, Lena Goote, Tena Altman, Annie Timmerman and Gert Aning; father and mother-in-law, Harm and Jeriena Bartholomaus.

A private family service will take place at a later date.

Dingmann Funeral Home & Cremation Services, in Luverne, is assisting the family with arrangements.
