HELEN ROBERTA WOLF, age 90, of Worthington, formerly of Waterloo, IA, died Thursday, December 15, 2016, at the South Shore Care Center in Worthington. She was born January 20, 1926, in Charles City, IA, to Samuel Francis and Mary Ellen (Chesnut) Reser.

Helen married Fredrick Hudson on September 30, 1945, in Waterloo, IA. The couple lived in Waterloo and Cedar Falls, IA. Helen worked as an Avon Saleswoman. She also worked at Rath Packing in Waterloo. Helen worked as a manager at Stuarts Department Store; and served as a Pastors Assistant at the Grace United Methodist Church. Fred died on December 16, 1994.

Helen married Emanuel Wolf on August 1, 1997. After their marriage, the couple lived in Adrian. She was a member of St. Adrian Catholic Church. She enjoyed playing cards, Bingo, billiards where she won several trophies; and needlework, in which she made over fifty quilts.

Helen is survived by her husband, Emanuel Wolf, Worthington; four children, Larry (Carolyn) Hudson, West Lafayette, IN; Alan (Bonnie) Hudson, Temecula, CA; David (Diane) Hudson, Cedar Falls, IA; and Gayle (David) Steinquist, Winona; eleven grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; eight step children, Don (LaVonne) Wolf, Adrian; Bob (Cindy) Wolf, Adrian; Daryl (friend, Carol) Wolf, Brandon, SD; Mary Carol (Allen) Johnson, Chandler, AZ; Rose (Wes) Henriksen, Adrian; Virginia (Garry) Drost, Worthington; Allen (Jody) Wolf, Adrian; and Alice (Mike) Peiper, Brandon, SD; eighteen step grandchildren; and twenty five step great grandchildren..

She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Fred Hudson; four brothers, Earl, Bud, Bob & Gene Reser; and a sister, Joyce Tourtellott.

Visitation will be from 4-7 pm Monday at the Dingmann Funeral Home in Adrian with parish prayers at 7 pm. Visitation also from 9:30 to 10:15 am Tuesday at the Dingmann Funeral Home in Adrian. Funeral Mass will be 10:30 am Tuesday at St. Adrian Catholic Church, in Adrian, officiated by Fr. Andrew Beerman. A private family burial will be at the Dumont Cemetery in Dumont, IA at a later date.
