HENRY G. SCHUSTER, age 95, of Worthington, died, Monday, November 12, 2012 at his home. He was born August 11, 1917 in Fulda to parents Frederick and Matilda (Tammen) Schuster. As a young boy the family moved to North Dakota where he attended school. They later moved back to Worthington. Henry then moved to Los Angeles, CA; and attended a vocational school and was then employed at Northrup Air Craft. After a few years he returned to Worthington and eventually found employment in Waukegan, Illinois; working at Sears Corporation.
Henry was united in marriage to Bernice Lehnhoff on January 5, 1945 in Waukegan, Illinois. The couple moved back to Worthington in 1946 and Henry owned and operated Schuster Construction Company.
He was a charter member of the American Lutheran Church in Worthington of which his parents helped start. He was also in charge of building the new American Lutheran Church in Worthington serving as the contractor. He enjoyed his family and bowling.
Henry is survived by his wife, Bernice Schuster, Worthington; children, Marlen (Donna) Schuster, Maple Grove, MN; Ricki Lee Schuster, St. Paul, MN; and Daryl (Lisa) Schuster, San Diego, CA; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, son Larry Schuster; one grandson, Justin Schuster, daughter-in-law, Debra Schuster, three brothers, Leonard, Frank and Earl Schuster.
