HOME THEPPALAD, age 94, of Worthington, died Thursday, May 29, 2025, at his home. He was born December 31, 1930 in Sainyabuli, Laos. Home married Da Noyonsey in Laos. They lived in Laos until 1975, when the family fled to a Thailand refugee camp. They came to the United States on April 23, 1991 and made their home in Worthington. He loved tending to his garden and growing vegetables. Home is survived by his six children, Thongma Bounthisanh, New York, NY; Hiam Theppalad, Worthington; Thiam Theppalad, Worthington; Sum Theppalad, Worthington; Lane Theppalad, Worthington; and Bane Theppalad, Worthington; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Da Theppalad on August 19, 2011.

Funeral Service will be 1 pm Thursday, June 5 at the Dingmann Funeral Home in Worthington. A private family burial will take place at a later date.
