HOUANG SAENGSAYADETH passed on Sunday November 8, 2009 at his home in Worthington, Minnesota. He was born August 2, 1919, in Laos. Houang was a farm in Laos, and came to America with his wife and four children in 1985 where he resided in Tennessee. In 1987 he came to Worthington, Minnesota. Houang was a member of the Lao Christian Church in Worthington. He enjoyed sewing, gardening and Bible study. His most favorite pass time was spending time with his family. Seeing his grandchildren laughing and growing up put warmth in his heart and lit up his life. Houang is survived by his four children,: Bounseng Saengsayadeth, Nashville, TN; Bounthavy (Bounthong) Saengsayadeth, Worthington, MN; Phetsamone (Michael) Douglas, Sioux Falls, SD; and Bouning Sengsayadeth, Smyrna, TN; fifteen grandchildren: Todd, Tresa, Toney, Jack, Mark, Eric, Amy, Tommy, Sarah, Joseph, Thonk, and Thouin; and two great grandchildren, Aaliyah & Ellie. He was preceded in death by his wife, Meng Saengsayadeth, on September 9, 2000; and a granddaughter, Anry Douglas, on November 1997.
