JOHN ?JACK? MEYERAAN, age 72, of Worthington, died Saturday, March 21, 2009 at the Sunset Cottage in Worthington. He was born November 28, 1936, in Worthington, MN to parents, George Sr. and Grace (Meester) Meyeraan. He attended Worthington Public School. John was united in marriage to Joan Renken on April 19, 1958 in Dakota City, NE. After their marriage the couple moved to the Worthington area. Jack owned and operated J.J. Siding. He was a member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church in Worthington. He enjoyed collecting toy trucks and tractors, woodworking and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Jack is survived by two sons, William (Randi) Meyeraan, Fairmont; Michael (Charlene) Meyeraan, Rushmore; two daughters, Grace (Lee) Leuth, Osakis; Christina (Mark) Kruger, Ocheyedan, IA; thirteen grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, one brother, Jim Meyeraan, Worthington; four sisters, Grace Bruns, Worthington; Josephine Nelson, Worthington; Jeannie Gunn, Sioux Falls, SD; and Susie Donaldson, Del Rapids, SD. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Joan in 1994, four brothers and one sister.
