JACKALYNE "JACKIE" LEA HIERONIMUS, age 45, of Adrian, died Friday, March 27, 2015, at the Dougherty Hospice House in Sioux Falls, SD. She was born August 21, 1969, in Rock Rapids, IA, to Ecko Jr. and Linda Lea (Arends) Boelman. Jackie graduated from Ellsworth High School in 1987. After high school, she attended Stewart's School of Hairstyling, in Sioux Falls, SD, graduating in 1988.
Jackie married Timothy Hieronimus on September 16, 1989, at Zion Presbyterian Church in Ellsworth. After their marriage the couple lived in Ellsworth and Rushmore before moving to the farm north of Adrian in 1993. Jackie worked as a hairstylist at Marge's Fashion in Ellsworth; and at Victoria's Vision in Adrian. Jackie opened her own business in Ellsworth in 2011 called Jackalyne's Boutique.
She was a member of Zion Presbyterian Church in Ellsworth. She enjoyed snowmobiling, dancing, music, singing Karaoke, watching movies and laughing with friends. Jackie loved her children and her granddaughter. She cherished her children's activities, which included cheerleading, cross-country, football & wrestling. She especially enjoyed cheering on the Adrian Dragons wrestling team.
Jackie is survived by her husband of twenty five years, Tim Hieronimus, Adrian; two daughters, Leah Ann & Hunter Mikayla Hieronimus, Adrian; two sons, Skylar Lee & Breyer Storm Hieronimus, Adrian; granddaughter, Kaedyn Leigh Bullerman; and three sisters, Jeralyne Boelman, Ellsworth; Stacy Boelman, Redondo Beach, CA; and Robin Burditt, Redondo Beach, CA.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Linda Lea Boelman; father, Ecko Boelman Jr.; maternal grandparents, Wally & Grace Arends; and her paternal grandparents, Ecko Sr. & Ruth Boelman.
Visitation will be from 4-8 pm Monday at the Dingmann Funeral Home in Adrian. Visitation also from 9:30 to 10:15 am Tuesday at the funeral home. Funeral service will be 10:30 am Tuesday at St. Adrian Catholic Church, in Adrian, officiated by Frs. Andrew Beerman & James Seitz. Burial will be in the Grand Prairie Cemetery in Ellsworth.
