JAMES PAUL BOECKER, age 69, of Adrian, died Saturday, November 5, 2016, at his home. He was born July 10, 1947, in Slayton, to William F. and Anthonette G. (Hebbelman) Boecker. He attended St. Adrian Grade School; and graduated from St. Adrian High School. Jim then attended Technical Drafting School in St. Louis Park. He worked at Honeywell, in Minneapolis, before moving to Adrian in the early 1980's.

He maintained a detailed genealogy history of the Boecker family. He even traced the family back to Germany for multiple generations.

Jim is survived by his two brothers, William H. (Sandra K.) Boecker, Arlington, MN; and John A. Boecker, Lakeville, MN; and six nephews, William G., David A., Douglas M., Mark A., Robert T. and Thomas J. Boecker.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A Memorial Mass will be Saturday at 10:30 am at the St. Adrian Catholic Church, in Adrian, officiated by Fr. Andrew Beerman. A time of fellowship will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday. Burial of cremains will be in the St. Adrian Cemetery.
