JAMES ALBERT SCHAEFER, age 78, of Worthington, died Saturday, October 08, 2022, at the Crossroads Care Center in Worthington. He was born February 21, 1944, in Luverne, to Russell and Monica (Hagemann) Schaefer. Jim grew up near Luverne where he helped his family on the farm. In 1982, he moved with his mother to Worthington. Jim was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Worthington. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and riding horses. Jim is survived by his sister, Linda Moore, Worthington; brother, Dennis Schaefer, Worthington; and a nephew, Eric Moore, Worthington. He was preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial service will be 1 pm Wednesday, October 12 at the Dingmann Funeral Home, in Worthington, with a time of fellowship one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial of cremains will be in the St. Catherine Cemetery in Luverne.
