JANE MARIE KREUCH, age 55, of Luverne, died Tuesday, June 11, 2013, at her home. She was born March 17, 1958, in Milwaukee, WI, to James and Kathryn (Peabody) Mullally. At the age of one, Jane moved with her family to Owatonna. She grew up there and graduated from Owatonna High School in 1977. She graduated from St. Catherine College, in St. Paul, in 1981.
Jane married John Kreuch on July 24, 1985, in Maryland. After their marriage, the couple lived in Washington D.C. where Jane worked at The National Children's Center. In 1994, they moved to Luverne. Jane worked at Dakotabilities, in Sioux Falls, SD, counseling adults with disabilities. She always made her clients smile with her holiday costumes.
She was a member of St. Catherine Catholic Church in Luverne where she volunteered at the Adoration Chapel. Jane spent her whole life helping others; at work, at home & anyone in need. She was an avid reader, finishing a book per day. She loved laughing, always joking and planning practical jokes. Jane's birthday falls on St. Patrick's day. She loved celebrating the day in St. Paul among family & friends.
Jane is survived by her husband, John Kreuch, Luverne; three children, Johnny (fiancée, Lyndsey) Kreuch, St. Paul; Matthew Kreuch, Norfolk, VA; and Katie Rose Kreuch, Sioux Falls, SD; mother, Kathryn Rose Mullally, Owatonna; five brothers, Mark Mullally, Owatonna; Michael John (Sue) Mullally, Mendota Heights; Jim Mullally, Minneapolis; Kevin (Karen) Mullally, Minneapolis; and Michael Paul Mahoney, St. Paul; two sisters, Patty (Dan) McQuillan, St. Paul; and Sarah (Brian) Peterson, Stillwater; fifteen nieces & nephews; mother-in-law, Billye Kreuch, Santa Fe, NM; and two sisters-in-law, Janice (Dave) Carter, Santa Fe, NM; and Karen (Cliff) Phillips, Santa Fe, NM.
She was preceded in death by her father, James Mullally.
Visitation will be from 5-7pm Thursday at the Dingmann Funeral Home in Luverne with parish prayers at 5:15. Visitation also from 10-11 am Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Owatonna. Funeral Mass will be 11 am Friday at St. Josephs Catholic Church, in Owatonna, officiated by Frs. Ed McGrath & Thomas Jennings. Burial will be in the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Owatonna.
