JANICE KAE KLEVE , age 68, of Magnolia, died Sunday, January 23, 2022, at the Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls, SD. She was born November 11, 1953, in White Earth, MN. She was adopted by Harriet and Carl Kleve who resided near Avoca. She graduated from Fulda High School in 1971; and later attended college in Rochester.

Janice married Theodore Olson and had 3 children. The couple lived in Fulda and later divorced. Janice lived in various places including New York, California, Oklahoma and Iowa. She moved to Lake Wilson in 2012 and later to Magnolia in 2015. Janice worked in healthcare as a  CNA/PCA; and later as a quality food inspector at Monogram Meats and at JBS before retiring.

She was a member of the Living Rock Church in Luverne, and was active on the prayer team. She enjoyed attending bible studies,  gardening, bowling, fishing, and cooking for loved ones. She was also an active member of Alcoholics Anonymous for many years.

Janice is survived by her three children, Chad (Jenifer) Olson, Austin, MN; Jennifer (Fiancée Terry) Eppens, Chamberlain, SD; and Nathaniel Olson, Magnolia MN; four grandchildren, Brittany (Andrew) Johnson, Steven Eppens, Chloe Eppens (Fiancée Parker) and Josiah Eppens; three great-grandchildren, Aiden, Olliver, and Penelope; Sisters Dyan Stout, St. Charles IL.  Marilyn Pfohl, Dubuque  IA. Roberta Macias, El Paso TX; A sister-in-law, Gail Kleve, Cave Junction, OR.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Marvin Kleve.

A memorial service will be held at 1 pm Friday at Living Rock Church, in Luverne, officiated by Pastor Billy Skaggs. A time of fellowship will be one hour prior to the service at the church. A private family burial of cremains will take place at a later date.
