JASON J. ?JAY? WOHLFORD, age 28, of Luverne, died Sunday, December 12, 2010, at the Sanford Hospital in Luverne. He was born December 7, 1982, in Davenport, IA, to Dennis and Jane (Hueser) Wohlford. Jay attended school in Luverne and graduated from Prairie Winds Christian School. He later graduated from NASCAR Technical Institution in Moorsville, NC. After graduation, Jay moved to Luverne. He worked at various jobs before joining Ketterling Services Inc. in Luverne. He was a member of the Beaver Creek Volunteer Fire Department. He enjoyed auto racing, hockey, fishing and camping. Jay is survived by his two daughters, Mariah & Melanie Wohlford; father, Dennis (Ella) Wohlford, East Moline, IL; mother, Jane Thompson, Luverne; two sisters, Bonnie (Scott) Hansen, Bellevue, NE; and Mandy Allvin, Bellevue, NE; paternal grandmother, Virginia Wohlford, Fairmont; maternal grandmother, Bev Hueser, Fairmont; four nephews; two nieces; and his girlfriend, Brandi Klarenbeck, Luverne. He was preceded in death both of his grandfathers; and his niece, Olivia Allvin.
