JOYCE ELIZABETH SARVELA SANDBO, age 79, of Luverne, entered into heaven on October 13, 2021. She was born March 7, 1942 to Theodore and Henrietta Sarvela.

After graduating school in Barnum, MN, Joyce married Jerry Peterson. Together they had three daughters.  Sharon Engen (Ken Lade), East Bethel MN, Donna Peterson (Larry Rix), Lake View IA, Lisa Hieronimus (Dan Probst) Adrian MN.

In 1994, Joyce married Kim (Sam) Sandbo in Luverne MN where they made their home.

Joyce loved and cherished her grandchildren; Matthew, Stephanie, Eric, Marc, Ethan, Kyle, Houston and Cole. Her great grandchildren Austin, Tanner, Brayden, Connor, Mya, Clayton James, Haidyn, Josie and Anessa also had a special place in her heart.

Joyce's surviving siblings will truly miss her.  They are Darlene, Linda, Dorothy, Wally and Bonnie.

She was welcomed into heaven by her parents and siblings Georgieann, Kenneth and great grandson, Cayden.

There will be a private family burial at a later date. The public is welcome to attend Joyce's Celebration of Life. It will be held at The Lake in Luverne MN on Saturday, October 23, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
