JOYCE P. PRINZING-SCHAAP, age 95, of Worthington, MN died Monday, August 31, 2009, at the Crossroads Care Center in Worthington, MN. She was born June 29, 1914, in Faribault, MN to Franklin and Clara (Jobbins) Finley. She attended Faribault High School. Joyce married R.C. Prinzing in August of 1936. After their marriage, the couple owned & operated Prinzing Fruit Market in Faribault, MN. They moved to Rochester, MN in 1958 where they operated The Ranch Market. R.C. died in 1964. Joyce married Fred Schaap in 1967, in Rochester, MN. After their marriage, the couple moved to Worthington, MN where they operated Schaap Sanitation. Fred died in 1983. She was a very active member of the Solid Rock Assembly of God Church, in Worthington, MN, where she taught Adult Sunday School and served as Superintendent. Joyce is survived by her twelve children; twenty grandchildren; 108 great grandchildren; sixty four great great grandchildren; one brother; and one sister. She was preceded in death by her parents; her two husbands; two sons, Charles & Eldon Prinzing; three daughters, Joyce Sharon & Regina Prinzing; and Freida Buss; four brothers, Joe, Dale, Ellvynn & Llewellyn Finley; and a sister, Arlene Finley.
