JUDITH POMRANKE, age 74, of Worthington, died Sunday, May 5, 2013, at her home. She was born May 2, 1939, in Slayton, to Floyd and Ethel (Rogers) Rowley. She attended school in Reading before graduating from Worthington High School.
Judy married Wilbur Pomranke on August 4, 1956. After their marriage, the couple farmed south of Reading. They moved to Worthington in 1994. Judy had worked at Nobles County Family Services for several years; and Worthington Senior Dining.
She enjoyed sewing, cooking & baking.
Judy is survived by her four children, Cindy (Greg) DeGroot, Worthington; Patty (Marshall) Stromberg, Mankato; Lonnie (Jane) Pomranke, Worthington; and Shawn (Rich) Schumacher, Stillwater; seven grandchildren, Seth DeGroot, Lance DeGroot, Eric Stromberg, Laura Stromberg, Joshua Pomranke, Erin Pomranke & Emily Schumacher; brothers, Doug (Aggie) Rowley, Estherville, IA;  Kim (Karen) Rowley, Reading; sister, Connie (Loren) Johanning; and two brothers-in-law, Leo (Jean) Pomranke, Worthington; and Stan Vogler, Gettysburg, SD.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Wilbur, in 1998; and a sister, Marilyn Vogler.
Visitation will be from 5-7 pm Thursday at the Dingmann Funeral Home in Worthington; and one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Friday. Funeral will be 11am Friday at the Dingmann Funeral Home in Worthington. Burial will be at Worthington Garden of Memories Cemetery in Worthington.
