JULEAN PEARL WIEKERAAD, age 60, of Leota, went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday, June 15, 2011. She was born June 3, 1951, in Canton, SD, to Adam and Phyllis (Dewitt) Broughton. Julean grew up on a farm East of Worthing, SD, and graduated from Harrisburg High School. Julean married Lon Wiekeraad on August 21, 1970. To that union, they had three sons, Matt, Jarod & Tom. She is survived by her mother, Phyllis Broughton, Canton, SD; three sons, Matt Wiekeraad, Edgerton; Jarod Wiekeraad, Yankton, SD; and Tom (Desi) Wiekeraad, Lake Wilson; four grandchildren, Cole, Jordyn, Connor & Keagan; two sisters, Dottie & Patty (Kent); five brothers, Adam, Les (Shirley), Steve (Dena), Jim & Cal; and many more friends & family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lon Wiekeraad, in 2004; and her father, Adam Broughton.
