Kathy Louise McKnight Schlotman died unexpectedly at the age of 68 at her home in Ellsworth, MN. She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories.

She is survived by her children Thomas McKnight (Leanne McKnight), Tacey Gurr (Shane Gurr), and Timothy McGirr; nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren with another on the way; her former husband of 25 years, Barry Schlotman; her mother, Patricia McKnight; and other loved family members. She is reunited in peace with her late father, William McKnight, Sr.

Born in Las Vegas, NV, Kathy carried a lifelong love for singing and for music. Kathy also loved to play games and made the best chocolate chip cookies. She thoughtfully send Christmas cards to family members and crocheted blankets for her great grandchildren. Whatever she was doing, she liked to make it fun.

Kathy loved her family and cherished the time she was able to spend with them.

A celebration of Kathy's life will be held in Arizona in the near future.
