KEVIN DANIEL VELASCO MEJIA, age 22, of Worthington, died Tuesday, October 5, 2021. Kevin was born November 11, 1998, to Antonio and Rosario (Mejia) Velasco.

Kevin was creative and had a mind for philosophy. He was great with computers and cyber security programs, as he familiarized himself with software security. He enjoyed creative writing, especially writing his own lyrics. His outgoing and kind-hearted manner made him a joy to be around for his family, friends, and his "Twitch" gaming community.

Kevin is survived by his parents, Antonio and Rosario, of Worthington; and two brothers, Elmer Velasco, Worthington; and Freddy Velasco, Worthington.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

A Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. at Saint Mary's Catholic Church, in Worthington, on Friday, October 8, officiated by Fr Miguel Praños. A visitation will be on hour prior to the service on Friday.
