ROY L. KRUEGER, age 84, of Worthington, died Saturday, June 16, 2007, at Avera McKennan Hospice, Sioux Falls, SD. He was born August 11, 1922 in O?Brien County, Iowa to Harry and Hilda (Meier) Krueger. He attended and graduated from Hartley High School in 1939. He later attended Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa. Roy was united in marriage to Arlene Betz on May 6, 1943 in Sutherland, Iowa. She passed away on October 12, 1995. He was united in marriage to Elvira Norgaard on October 16, 1998 in Worthington. Roy farmed in Iowa until 1968, then he worked as a Farm Manager/Realtor until he retired. He was a member of St. Mary?s Catholic Church in Worthington. He was also a member of the Elk?s Lodge in Worthington and a past member of the Worthington Kiwanis, and also past president of Minnesota Realtors Association. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, dancing, traveling, especially winters in Arizona, and spending time with family. Roy is survived by his wife Elvira, Worthington, three children, Patricia E. (Elmer) Probst, Worthington; Rodney R. (Barbara) Krueger, Plymouth, MN; James H. Krueger, Marshfield, WI; four step-children, Dan (Gwen) Norgaard, Sibley, IA; Gail Petty (Bernie Waldhauser), Owatonna, MN; Craig (Jeanne) Norgaard, Tyler, MN; Neil (Loree) Norgaard, Somerset, CA; five grandchildren, Janelle (Gus) Christensen, Megan (Jason) Schmid, Jill Krueger, Karl (Jamie) Krueger, Elizabeth (Doug) McDowell; two great-grandchildren, thirteen step-grandchildren and ten step-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Arlene Krueger, and sister Gladys Brummer. Blessed Be His Memory.
