Obituary

KYLE FREDERICKSON, age 51, of Worthington, died Saturday, October 11, 2008, at the Minnesota Veterans Home, in Luverne. He was born December 6, 1956, in Viborg, SD, to Eldon and Ardell (Anderson) Frederickson. Kyle graduated from Viborg High School in 1975. He later received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Animal Science, in 1985, at South Dakota State University. In 1975, Kyle entered the United States Air Force. He also served in the South Dakota Air National Guard until 2000. He served his country during Desert Storm. Kyle married Cindy Belk on May 27, 1978, in Viborg, SD. After their marriage, the couple lived in Viborg and various cities in South Dakota, Minnesota & Oregon before moving to Worthington in 1988. He worked as a Dairy Nutritionist for AMPI. Kyle became a resident of the Minnesota Veterans Home in Luverne in 2002. He was a member of the American Lutheran Church, in Worthington; the local Amateur Radio Operators Club; and the Barbershop Quartet. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and drinking coffee as he operated his HAM radio. Kyle is survived by wife, Cindy Frederickson, Worthington; son, Matthew (Tiffany) Frederickson, Rapid City, SD; daughter, Sarah Frederickson, Roseville, MN; father, Eldon (Theresa) Frederickson, Las Cruces, NM; and two sisters, Sandi (Tom) King, Vermillion, SD; and JoDee (Tim) Junkman, Neola, IA; and the Belk family, Alfred Belk, Diane Belk, Fawn (Perry) Killion, Corine (Jim) Stach, Barbara (Scott Hartvigsen) Belk, Lydia Freedon, nephews, nieces and many friends. He was preceded in death by his mother.
