KYLE DAVID LEHNHOFF, age 35, of Adrian, died Wednesday, December 19, 2012, at the Sanford Hospice Cottage in Luverne. He was born July 28, 1977, in Tyler, to David and Ruth (Gifford) Lehnhoff. Kyle graduated from Balaton High School in 1996. He graduated from Mitchell Technical Institute, in Mitchell, SD, in 2001.
Kyle married Jill Swan on March 17, 2001, in rural Balaton. The couple lives in Adrian where Kyle served as the Computer Technician at the Adrian High School, since 2001.
He was a member of the Living Rock Church in Luverne; and served as Treasurer for Westside Township. He enjoyed ice fishing and gardening; and was an avid hunter. Kyle's biggest joy was his girls.
Kyle is survived by his wife, Jill Lehnhoff, Adrian; four daughters, Marisa, Olivia, Kamry & Charlee Lehnhoff; parents, David & Ruth Lehnhoff, Balaton; two sisters, Tonia (Jeff) Swan, Hills; and Traci (Joe) Scholtz, Norwalk, CT; paternal grandparents, Eugene & Rosie Lehnhoff, Marshall; maternal grandmother, Alta Gifford, Balaton; in-laws, Alan & Linda Swan, Balaton; three sisters-in-law, Kari (Rick) Karbo, Balaton; Stacy Barstad, Lake Shetek; and Amy (Nick) Payne, Sioux Falls, SD; grandmother-in-law, Marjorie Schultz, Balaton; and nieces & nephew, Baily, Kendall, Tiffani, Kelsey, Sidney, Dylan, Alexis, Jaelen & Cora.
He was preceded in death by his infant brother, John Mark Lehnhoff; and grandfather, Robert Gifford.
Visitation will be from 4-8 pm Friday at the Living Rock Church in Luverne; and one hour prior to the service at the Adrian High School. Funeral will be 10:30 am Saturday at the Adrian High School officiated by Pastor Billy Skaggs. Burial will be at 2pm at the Lakeside Cemetery in Balaton.
