LAWRENCE HANS THODE, age 81, of Luverne, died Friday, September 15, 2006, at the Sioux Valley Luverne Hospital. He was born July 4, 1925, in rural Luverne, to Claus and Anna (Wenzel) Thode. Lawrence was raised and lived all of his life in Rock County. He attended country school in Districts 13 & 10. Lawrence married Leona Hisken on August 26, 1958, in Luverne. After their marriage, the couple farmed northwest of Luverne. Lawrence also sold Sakota Seed Corn for many years. He was a member of the Christian Reformed Church, in Luverne. Lawrence is survived by his two sisters-in-law, Evelyn Thode, Luverne; and Helen DeBoer, Luverne; and several nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Leona on April 9, 1999; and a brother, Clarence Thode. Blessed Be His Memory.
