LeRoy Ervin Jobe, age 70, of Worthington, died Thursday, October 10, 2024, at his home.  He was born January 21, 1954, in Winnebago, to Ervin and Shirley (Knudson) Jobe. LeRoy grew up and lived in Leavenworth, KS. He worked several jobs in Kansas including Ceneca gas station. He moved to Sioux Falls, SD as a semi driver and lastly moved to Worthington where he worked at JBS before retiring. He was a man of many words & loved telling stories. His hobbies included playing pool for many years and riding his motorcycle. He also enjoyed bowling, fishing, canoeing, and driving around the lakes. He spent a great deal of time visiting friends and workers at the Blue Line where he "put the feed bag on", and reading the newspaper. Yearly, he made trips to visit siblings and daughter in Kansas. He also visited his brother in Nebraska. LeRoy is survived by his daughters, Tina Hough from Kansas; and Amber Ebbers from Minnesota; grandkids, Lillian & Aiden; siblings, Steven Jobe, Anita (Bob) Ehbauer, and Connie (Chuck) Jobe; and many nieces and nephews.

He is proceeded in death by both his parents; and sister-in-law, Susan.

A private family service will take place at a later date with Dingmann Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Worthington.
