Obituary

LESLIE ANN JENSEN, age 56, of Worthington, died Thursday, June 4, 2015, at her home. She died as she had fought her 15 month battle against ovarian cancer; with dignity and grace, surrounded by her loving family; and with quiet strength and determination rooted in her faith in Jesus Christ.
Leslie was born on November 25, 1958 in Heron Lake, the first child of Marvin and Dorothy (Burnside) Titus.  She grew up on a farm near Okabena and graduated from Okabena High School and attended Hamline University in St. Paul.
In 1979 she married Daryle Albersman and they later divorced.
In 1991 she married Dan Jensen. Leslie worked at a variety of jobs; most recently and most importantly she was an 18 year member of the Echo Electric family, until her illness forced her to retire in the fall of 2014.
Leslie was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Worthington, as well as a Benedictine Oblate of Assumption Abbey in Richardton, North Dakota. She was also an avid reader, accomplished seamstress and a great listener. Leslie enjoyed spending time with family, especially her six grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by infant son, Jonathan, parents, and brother, John Titus.
Leslie is survived by her husband, Dan Jensen, Worthington, MN;  sister, Tracy (Terry) Wheeler, Lakefield, MN;  two daughters, Latina (Jeff) Nickel, Worthington, MN; Sophia (Chad) Markus, Worthington, MN; two step-daughters, Amanda (Jesse) Jensen-Stahl, St. Paul, MN; Alicia Jensen, Worthington, MN. She is also survived by six precious grandchildren:  Jaden, Spenser and Tayler Nickel; Khloe and Hendrick Markus; and Trey Jensen.

Funeral Mass will be 10:30 am Monday at St. Mary Catholic Church, in Worthington, officiated by Fr. James Callahan & Deacon Vern Behrends. Burial will be in the St. Mary Cemetery in Worthington.
