LILA M. LEE, age 83, of Luverne, died Friday, July 3, 2015, at the Mary Jane Brown Good Samaritan Home in Luverne. She was born October 11, 1931, in Kenneth, to Frank and Elsie (Petersen) Herschberger. She attended school in Kenneth before graduating from Luverne High School in 1949.
Lila married Walter Lee on February 10, 1954, in Kenneth. After their marriage, the couple lived in Kenneth before moving to the farm southwest of Kenneth. They retired and moved to Luverne in 1981. She was a member of the Luverne Ladies Legion Auxiliary.
Lila is survived by her four children, Mark (Joanne) Lee, Dell Rapids, SD; Gary (Vickie) Lee, Magnolia; Terry (Vic) Rueb, Beaver Creek; and Patty (Bill) Creamer, Moore, MT; three grandchildren, Jason Lee, Christopher Lee & Melissa Rueb; a sister, Vivian Bryan, Luverne; and a brother, Eugene Herschberger, McAllen, TX.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Walter on March 31, 2002; and three sisters, Ruth Mork, Frances McClure and Avis Hoven.
A private family burial service will be at the Maplewood Cemetery in Luverne.
