LILIAN M. SANCHEZ, age 61, of Worthington, died Tuesday, September 21, 2021, at the Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls, SD. She was born August 8, 1960, in El Salvador, to Jose and Maria Santos Gonzalez. She enjoyed spending time with her family and going to church on Saturday. Lilian was a very bright person who was always helping others. She enjoyed cooking & baking. Lilian is survived by her three children, Duly Sanchez, Worthington; Lis Sanchez Vega, Worthington; and Stephany Gonzalez Sanchez, Worthington; six grandchildren, Emely Gonzalez Sanchez, Briana Gonzalez, Crystal Vega, Ayanna Vega, Miguel Rivas and Michael Rivas; and six siblings, Hector, Mario, Roberto, Antonio, Raul and Rosa Arias. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Luis on March 13, 2020.

Visitation will be from 5-8 pm Friday, September 24, at the Dingmann Funeral Home in Worthington. Funeral will be at 12:45 pm Saturday at the Dingmann Funeral Home in Worthington officiated by Pastor Guillermo Arevalo. Burial will be at 2 pm Saturday at the Worthington Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
