LILLIAN MARY KAAS, age 94, of Worthington, died Friday, October 20, 2006 at Sunset Hospice Cottage, Worthington. Lillian was born to Henry A. and Lena (Schubert) Leckband. She was born May 26, 1912 in Ida County, Iowa. Lillian attended school in Iowa. Lillian married Martin O. Haack in 1934. Lillian then moved to Rapid City, SD in 1963, and she married William (Bill) Kaas on November 23, 1963. Bill passed away on September 2, 1994. Lillian moved to Worthington in September of 1994. Lillian was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Worthington. She was also a member of the VFW Auxiliary in Wilmont, and also a long time member of American Auxiliary in Dundee. Lillian enjoyed being with family and friends. She is survived by four children, Lawrence Haack, LaSalle, IL; Yula Meyer, Montrose, IA; Sandra Jones, Worthington, MN; and James M. Haack, Lafayette, LA; eleven grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, William Kaas, sister, Edna Hasenbank daughter, Bonnie Stofferan and son-in-law, Don Meyer. Blessed Be Her Memory.
