LORA (STEFFERUD) VANMEEKEREN, age 51, of Reading, died Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at the Shores of Worthington. She was born February 18, 1974, in Fosston, MN, to James Sr. and Leona (Lindquist) Stefferud. She graduated from Worthington High School in 1992.

Lora married Claryn VanMeekeren on June 14, 1997, in Worthington. The couple lived in Reading. They later divorced. Lora worked at Lakehaven Nursing Home, in Worthington, before she began working at the Minnesota Veterans Home in Luverne.

She was a member of the Bethel Presbyterian Church in Reading. She enjoyed camping, fishing, music, family & friends and just having fun.

Lora is survived by her brother, James (Amy) Stefferud Jr., Reading; two sisters, Lisa (Bob) Froderman, Reading; and Lori (Jamie) Gravenhof, Rushmore; two aunts, Clarice (Jim) Preston, Alexandria, VA; and Joyce Stefferud, Watertown, SD; nieces & nephews, Jenny (Eric) Repp, James Froderman, Dalton & Dawson Gravenhof and Jeremy (fiancé, Kaitlyn) Johnson; great-nieces, Brooklynne, Emma and Natalee; and special friends, cousin Cindy, Taneka & Jeremy, Lori and Kim.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral will 2 pm Tuesday, Sept. 30 at the Dingmann Funeral Home, in Worthington, officiated by Pastor Randy Knuth. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Tuesday. Burial will be in the Summit Lake Cemetery in Reading.
