LUELLA V. KRAMER, age 94, of Worthington, died Saturday, November 28, 2009, at the Sanford Worthington Regional Hospital. She was born August 11, 1915, in Little Rock, IA, to Henry and Augusta (Stopsack) Thiesse. She attended rural school near Little Rock, IA. Luella married Ray Kramer on November 21, 1935, in Sioux Falls, SD. After their marriage, the couple farmed near Marshall and later lived in Sioux Falls, SD and Adrian. In 1939, they moved to Worthington where Ray worked as a bartender at the Thompson Hotel. From 1952 to 1973, the couple owned & operated Ray?s Caf? in Worthington. After retirement, the couple enjoyed wintering in McAllen, TX. She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, in Worthington; the Worthington Elks; the Worthington VFW Ladies Auxiliary; and the Worthington American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. Her hobbies and passions included crocheting, ballroom dancing, playing cards & gambling, especially BINGO. Luella is survived by her five children and their spouses, Robert Kramer, Minnetonka; Larry & Judy Kramer, Shakopee; Connie & Sid Schnepf, Sibley, IA; Edwin J. Kramer, Wetherby, England; and Cindy Kramer & Leacroft Mc Intosh, St. Louis Park; eleven grandchildren, Michael, Ann, Frank, Paul, Brad, Randy, Matthew, Chad, Paula, Doug & Madison; and thirteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ray, in 2005; daughter, Audrey Buysse, in 1977; an infant son; a grandson, Wade Kramer; seven sisters; and six brothers. Visitation will be from 4-8 pm Tuesday at the Dingmann Funeral Home, in Worthington, and one hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday. Funeral will be 11:00 AM Wednesday at the Westminster Presbyterian Church, in Worthington, officiated by Rev. James Krapf. Burial will be at the Worthington Garden of Memories Cemetery.
