LUELLA L. SEVDY, age 96, of Worthington, died, Tuesday, September 15, 2009 at the South Shore Care Center in Worthington. Luella was born January 11, 1913 in Worthington to parents, John and Doris (Kunze) Graff. She was raised on the family farm north of Worthington and attended country schools. Luella was united in marriage to Howard Sevdy on February 9, 1935 in Worthington. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and the Turkey Trotters Square Dance Club in Worthington. She loved to bake and was always ready to make cookies and pies for her family and friends. Luella also loved children and was always a willing baby sitter. Luella is survived by four sisters, Edna Braun, Rushmore; Agnes Krull, Rushmore; Alice (Leon) Krull, Deer Creek and Mavis Appel of Worthington; sisters-in-laws, Doris Petersen and Fern Graff; also numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Howard Sevdy in 1991, three sisters and two brothers.
