MARCO ANTONIO ESPINOSA JIMENEZ, age 22, of Worthington, died Friday, August 31, 2018, at the Humboldt County Memorial Hospital, in Humboldt, IA, as a result of a construction accident. He was born October 29, 1995, in Chiapas, Mexico, to Francisco Espinosa and Consuelo Jimenez. In 2014, Marco moved to Worthington where he worked in construction doing roofing and siding.

He married Jannete Espinosa on June 2, 2018, in Worthington. The couple lived in Worthington. He enjoyed soccer, fishing and loved children especially his step children and cousins.

Marco is survived by his parents, Mexico; wife, Jannete Espinosa, Worthington; two step children, Valeria Maldonado and Alan Mendez, Worthington; and a sister, Ayareni Espinosa Jimenez, Mexico.

Visitation will be from 4-7 pm Wednesday at the Dingmann Funeral Home in Worthington. Funeral and burial will take place at a later date in Mexico.
