Obituary

MARGARET A. COOPER, age 93, of Worthington, died Monday, October 12, 2009, as a result of an automobile accident east of Wilmont. She was born July 17, 1916, in Cold Spring, to Michael and Albina (Muggli) Fink. She attended school in Cold Spring. Margaret married Cecil Cooper on September 10, 1937, in Rock Rapids, IA. The couple lived in Worthington all of their married lives. Margaret had worked for Campbell?s Soup Co. for over ten years. She was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Worthington; and had volunteered for Meals on Wheels. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, great grandchildren and her special friend, Earl Graf. Margaret is survived by her three children, Ralph (Joyce) Cooper, Worthington; Jean (Jim) Black, Worthington; and Judy (Fred) Wietzema, Worthington; twenty grandchildren; twenty one great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; two brothers, Richard (Vi) Fink, Richmond; and Edward (Celina) Fink, Cold Spring; and a sister, Delores Evans, St. Paul. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Cecil, in 1982; son, Jim, in 2006; two sisters, Isabele Kelly & Marie Spoden; and special friend, Earl Graf, on October 12, 2009.
