Margaret Jane Loger

MARGARET JANE LOGER, age 93, of Adrian, died Friday, July 17, 2026, at the Country Living Cottages in Adrian. She was born August 6, 1932, in Sibley, IA, to Peter and Lena (Grave) Kruger. She attended country school.

Margaret married Lawrence Loger on October 7, 1953, on Margaret's parent's farm near Adrian. The couple lived in Adrian before moving to Luverne in 1955. In 1957, they returned to Adrian. Margaret worked at Safeway, in Adrian, and later at the Arnold Memorial Hospital and Arnold Memorial Nursing Home in Adrian.

She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Adrian. She enjoyed dancing, playing Bingo, sewing, crocheting, polka music and traveling to the casino.

Margaret is survived by her two daughters, Darlene Cathey, Las Vegas, NV; and Robin (Donald) Erlandson, Adrian; eight grandchildren, Philip (Courtney) Springman, Miranda Cathey, Logen Cathey, Kalie (Monte) Miles, Matthew (McKenzie) Erlandson, Weston (Shannon) Erlandson, Stevie Ann Loger and Shelby Loger; ten great-grandchildren, Sage, Peyton, Sawyer, Kinslee, Merritt, Noah, Hayden, Oaklyn, Avery and Carlynn; and two sisters-in-law, DeLoris Kruger, Beaver Creek; and Marie Kruger, Worthington.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lawrence on February 2, 2020; son, Warren Loger on January 25, 2010; two brothers, Martin and Harold Kruger; and two sisters, Mary and Lois Kruger.

Visitation will be from 4-7 pm Tuesday, July 21 at the Dingmann Funeral Home in Adrian; visitation also one hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday. Funeral will be 10:30 am Wednesday at the United Methodist Church, in Adrian, officiated by Pastor John Mitchem. Burial will be in the Luverne Memorial Gardens Cemetery, following the lunch.
