MARGARET M. MORMANN, age 83, of Worthington, died Sunday, August 20, 2006, at the Sunset Rest Hospice Cottage, in Worthington. She was born January 10, 1923, in Larkin Township, rural Nobles County, to John and Mary (Didier) Wester. Margaret attended country school in Larkin Township and later attended St. Anthony Catholic School, in Lismore. She worked as a live-in Nanny and later, at the Garden Center Steak House, in Alexandria. Margaret married Norbert Mormann on April 10, 1945, at St. Anthony Catholic Church, in Lismore. After their marriage, the couple farmed near Rushmore until 1960, when they moved to the farm near Lismore. In 1982, they retired and moved to Worthington. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, in Worthington; the WCCW; and the Multiple Sclerosis Society. Margaret enjoyed quilting, gardening & raising her children & grandchildren. Margaret is survived by her husband, Norbert Mormann, Worthington; five children and their spouses, Douglas & Susan Mormann, La Cross, WI; Carol & Thomas Long, Wauwatosa, WI; Allan Mormann, Indialantic, FL; Kathy & Scot Henning, Adrian; and Lori & Larry Voss, Adrian; twelve grandchildren, Sarah Mormann, Meredith (Nathan) Anderson, Amber (Mario) Peraza, Emily, Allison & Claire Long, Ryan, Jenna & Andrea Dee Henning, and Brent, Christine & Hilary Voss; and a brother, Ray (Gertie) Wester, Westbrock. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Patricia Mormann, in 2000; a brother, Armond Wester; and three sisters, Alice Fritz, Dorothy Marco & Phyllis Baloun.
